Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily, documenting any issues for maintenance teams
- Verify inventory counts and report discrepancies to warehouse supervisors
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operating procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse workflow and space utilization
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory transactions
- Support cross-functional warehouse operations as needed
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Minimum 6 months of prior forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends based on operational needs
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
