Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Manage inventory documentation and warehouse organization systems
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
- Adapt to changing priorities in a high-volume distribution center
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and workplace hazards
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
