Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment daily (pre/post-shift checks)
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Support inventory audits and cycle count activities as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift operation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability including weekend shifts
