Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain organized inventory storage and staging areas for optimal workflow
- Collaborate with warehouse team to prioritize material handling tasks
- Ensure accurate documentation of all material transfers and inventory counts
- Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and 5S workplace standards
- Assist with basic warehouse cleaning and housekeeping duties
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 6 months of prior forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic math skills for inventory documentation
- Reliable transportation to flexible shift locations
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
