Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Load/unload trucks efficiently while ensuring product integrity
- Support cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow 5S principles
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Forklift certification from accredited institution preferred
