Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance issues to supervisors
- Load/unload trucks using proper stacking and securing techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet deadlines
- Support general warehouse duties as assigned by shift supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 6 months of prior forklift experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
