Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with receiving/shipping teams to ensure timely material flow
- Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent safety hazards
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks using proper rigging techniques
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain training)
- Minimum 6 months of prior forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
