Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance
- Verify inventory counts and document material movements accurately
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline operations and meet productivity goals
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved) or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 6 months of forklift operation experience preferred
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory management and documentation
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
