Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock discrepancies using handheld scanners.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and compliant with all OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to identify any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with the shipping and receiving team to meet daily throughput targets.
- Assist in general warehouse duties, including packaging and palletizing goods.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (CDL or forklift license required).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for counting inventory and processing paperwork.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
