Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize pallets in warehouse racks
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Support inventory audits and cycle count activities
- Ensure clean and organized work areas to prevent safety hazards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends (4-8 hour shifts)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
