Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly tagging and shelving products.
- Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of hazards to ensure OSHA compliance.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Assist in the preparation of pallets and preparing orders for outbound delivery.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Forklift Operator Certification (or equivalent training).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures strictly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or nights if required.
