Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport palletized materials throughout the facility.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and maintain organized stockpiles to ensure order accuracy.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Equipment Care: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Pick & Pack: Assist in the picking, packing, and labeling of orders for timely shipment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow operations.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10 or equivalent preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts (High Reach, Clamps, or Standard) is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety protocols and accuracy in inventory management.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
