Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize inventory efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to 5S principles.
- Load and unload trucks accurately, verifying quantities against packing slips.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Forklift Certification) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for logging work or scanning barcodes.
- Valid driver’s license (not always required for indoor roles, but good to have).
