Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to move materials and products
- Load/unload shipments from trucks while ensuring proper stacking and weight distribution
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to comply with safety standards
- Manage inventory counts and organize storage areas for optimal workflow
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets
- Complete paperwork and documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
