Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload materials.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage stock in accordance with company procedures.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and internal safety protocols at all times.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Space Optimization: Organize the warehouse floor to maximize storage capacity and workflow efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and inventory counts.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must possess a valid Forklift Operator Certification.
- Experience: Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including nights or weekends if required.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license (Class C) may be required.
