Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive forklifts and pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials and products.
- Inventory Management: Assist in scanning, counting, and verifying inventory accuracy to ensure stock levels match records.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately according to shipping manifests and priority levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure operational efficiency.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and checklists, in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Possession of a valid and current forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain one through our training program).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and operating machinery.
- Reliability: A track record of consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting and weighing shipments.
