Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functionality.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas to ensure accuracy and ease of retrieval.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a accident-free workplace.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure order accuracy.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
