Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to 5S standards.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Assist in inventory management, including cycle counting and stock organization.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class III (Forklift) Operator Certification.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to read and comprehend safety labels and inventory tags.
- Basic computer skills for logging daily activities.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Jacksonville facility.
