Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move products.
- Inspect forklifts for mechanical issues before the start of each shift and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and organizing stock within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Clean and organize the work area, including pallets and loading docks.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating counterbalance forklifts is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and tracking.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
