Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and ensure proper labeling of all stock.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily to identify maintenance needs and report any mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and optimal warehouse flow.
- Perform regular cleaning and organization of the warehouse floor to maintain a professional environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current OSHA forklift operator certification (forklift license).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse setting.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven terrain.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and precision when handling inventory.
- Documentation: Ability to read and comprehend safety manuals and shipping documents.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
