Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments efficiently.
- Inspect forklifts for safety issues and perform daily maintenance checks as required.
- Ensure accurate inventory counts and documentation using warehouse management systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and distribution.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid and current forklift certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and ability to read product labels and pallet tags.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including nights and weekends.
