Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Perform routine pre-shift equipment inspections to ensure forklifts are in safe operating condition.
- Accurately scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Organize stockpiles and maintain a clean, organized work area to minimize hazards.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and heavy lifting.
- Assist with packing, labeling, and verifying orders for accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
