Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (reach truck, order picker, or standard forklift) and pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trailers and trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing cargo.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of all forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including scanning, counting, and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (reach truck, order picker, or Class II/III preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer proficiency for using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Valid driver's license is a plus.
