Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks efficiently and safely.
- Inventory Accuracy: Verify quantities of stock against work orders and ensure proper labeling and storage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure smooth operations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- License: A valid driver’s license is required. A forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory (training provided).
- Attitude: A strong commitment to workplace safety and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level candidates.
