Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock as it enters or leaves the warehouse.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding material handling.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and ticket verification.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
