Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and loading docks.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by counting stock and tagging items appropriately.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid forklift operator certification (Class 1 or Class 3).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
