Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, and stack materials in warehouse settings
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to supervisor
- Maintain accurate inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Ensure all operations comply with OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Assist in warehouse cleanup and organization during slower periods
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift experience in warehouse/distribution environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
