Responsibilities
- Pack merchandise securely using appropriate materials (bubble wrap, boxes, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy by cross-referencing packing slips with physical inventory and labels.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse technology to log inventory and track shipments.
- Assist in inventory counts and stock replenishment to ensure shelves are fully stocked.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production goals and efficiency targets.
- Inspect products for defects or damages before packaging.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and experience using handheld scanners or WMS systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Newark facility.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.
