Responsibilities
- Execute daily picking, packing, and shipping tasks with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning barcodes and verifying stock levels.
- Ensure all shipments are properly labeled, secured, and loaded onto trucks according to safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hire).
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks using manual or powered equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team leads to resolve any discrepancies or logistical issues.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (typically 8-10 hour shifts).
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable transportation and a consistent work history.
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.
