Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correctly sorted and securely wrapped.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain accurate stock records within the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners to track inventory movements.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and resolve any immediate logistical issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with handheld scanners or inventory software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Valid forklift certification is preferred but not required (training available).
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
