Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are optimal.
- Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hire).
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards before dispatch.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work at least 20-25 hours per week.
