Responsibilities
- Supervise 3-5 warehouse staff during shifts, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to maintain accident-free operations
- Manage inventory control processes including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklift, pallet jacks) and procedures
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling
- Prepare daily shift reports and performance metrics
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- Forklift certification and OSHA 10-hour training preferred
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS experience a plus)
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory tracking software
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
