Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping orders to ensure 100% accuracy and timely delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor part-time staff, assigning tasks, providing training, and fostering a positive, safety-conscious work culture.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records using WMS systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect outgoing shipments for damage and accuracy, ensuring all customer requirements are met.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and report maintenance needs immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 6 months in a supervisory or lead role.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) such as SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
