Your Role
In this role, you will bridge the gap between management and floor operations. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of safety and productivity while mentoring a team of dedicated warehouse associates.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Manage inventory levels by conducting cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Train new hires on proper lifting techniques, equipment operation, and software usage.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Resolve operational issues and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery of goods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management.
- Valid Forklift Certification and OSHA 10 Training are required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
