Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Conduct regular inventory audits and implement cycle count processes
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory movements and equipment usage
- Enforce OSHA compliance and foster a culture of workplace safety
- Collaborate with transportation team to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- Basic knowledge of supply chain principles
