Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-8 warehouse associates, ensuring performance targets are met
- Implement safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain OSHA compliance
- Optimize workflow processes to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely shipping and receiving
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time inventory tracking
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex challenges to management
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
