Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Train and mentor team members on safety protocols, equipment usage, and efficiency standards
- Conduct regular safety audits and ensure OSHA compliance across all warehouse activities
- Optimize space utilization and implement lean inventory control systems
- Coordinate with transportation teams for seamless dock scheduling and loading processes
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
- Resolve workplace conflicts and maintain positive team morale
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse supervision experience in a fast-paced environment
- Forklift certification and proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and inventory control procedures
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and resolve operational challenges
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
