Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and mentor part-time staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and efficiency standards
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records
- Enforce OSHA safety regulations and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize space utilization and productivity
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex challenges to senior management
- Prepare daily performance reports and key metrics for leadership review
Qualifications
- 2+ years of warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficient in inventory management systems (WMS experience a plus)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid forklift operator certification required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
