Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels, oversee stock rotations, and conduct cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
- Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, including loading trucks and verifying outbound orders.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate part-time warehouse staff to ensure high performance standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Resolve operational issues immediately and communicate effectively with upper management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
- Valid Forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
