Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing OSHA guidelines and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the inventory team to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Manage and resolve daily operational issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock and update records accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in logistics or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or operations management.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Familiarity with warehouse machinery (forklifts, pallet jacks) and safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
