Responsibilities
- Select and verify products from warehouse inventory shelves using scanners or pick lists to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare orders for shipping by labeling packages and verifying shipping addresses.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Inspect products for quality and defects before packing to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Operate handheld scanning devices and warehouse management systems (WMS) efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for inventory verification and weighing packages.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to work in varying temperature conditions (climate-controlled warehouse).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
