Responsibilities
- Accurately select and assemble customer orders using handheld scanners and picking lists
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain organized inventory counts and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts with certification) safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity targets
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanning devices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Valid driver's license preferred (for equipment operation)
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions (refrigerated areas possible)
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork in a collaborative environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
