Responsibilities
- Select and verify merchandise for customer orders using handheld scanners and pick lists with high accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap) to ensure safe delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Operate warehouse machinery and equipment, including forklifts or pallet jacks, as required by training.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies as needed.
- Meet daily production goals and efficiency standards set by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
