Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on pick tickets and accurately pack them for shipment using proper packaging materials.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld RF scanners and warehouse equipment to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Inventory Maintenance: Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels within the warehouse.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage before packing to ensure high-quality delivery standards are met.
- Shipping Preparation: Label packages correctly, verify shipping addresses, and prepare documentation for outbound freight.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and warehouse staff to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy to minimize errors in order fulfillment.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and reading labels/numbers.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work scheduled shifts consistently.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Forklift Experience: (Preferred) Previous experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks.
