Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Items: Efficiently select products from warehouse shelves and pack them securely for shipment using proper packaging materials.
- Scan and Verify: Use handheld scanners and computer systems to verify item details, quantities, and barcodes to ensure accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies immediately.
- Material Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certified preferred) to move stock safely.
- Keep Work Area Organized: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment to maximize efficiency and safety standards.
- Meet Production Targets: Work efficiently to meet daily and weekly shipping goals and productivity quotas.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform manual labor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when picking and packing orders to minimize errors.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using scanners and warehouse management software.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent work history with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not always required.
