Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately retrieve items from shelves and prepare them for shipment using handheld scanners and RF equipment.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company standards to prevent shipping errors.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to optimize workflow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, picking, or packing is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and walk long distances within the facility.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and available to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
- Equipment Proficiency: Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse software quickly.
