Responsibilities
- Retrieve and select merchandise from shelves based on customer orders and pick lists.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to ensure safe delivery.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information, including barcodes and addresses.
- Operate handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels.
- Inspect merchandise for quality and damage before packing.
- Move pallets and heavy boxes using a forklift, pallet jack, or hand truck (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail stocking is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and pricing.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
