Responsibilities
- Pick & Pack: Retrieve merchandise from shelves using handheld scanners (RF guns) and pack items securely into boxes using appropriate materials.
- Accuracy Check: Verify order details against packing lists to ensure 100% order accuracy before shipping.
- Labeling: Apply shipping labels and barcodes correctly to all packages, adhering to carrier guidelines.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (training provided).
- Inventory Maintenance: Keep workstations, aisles, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols while performing daily tasks.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure packaging meets company quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stocking experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Work Ethic: Reliable attendance and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
