Responsibilities
- Pick, Pack, and Ship: Accurately retrieve, prepare, and package products for shipment according to customer orders and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Utilize handheld scanners (RF guns) to scan barcodes and verify inventory levels in real-time.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage and ensure packaging meets company quality assurance protocols.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyor systems as required.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following proper storage procedures.
- Reporting: Assist in stock rotation and reporting discrepancies or damaged goods to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or retail stocking role is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to working scheduled shifts.
- Computer Literacy: Basic familiarity with computer systems and handheld scanning devices.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
