The Role
As a Picker Packer, you will utilize our advanced warehouse management systems to locate items, verify quantities, and package them securely for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Select and gather products from shelves based on customer orders using scanners and handheld devices.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap) to prevent damage during transit.
- Inspect products for quality control and report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided upon hiring).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient fulfillment processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Reliable transportation to the Queens facility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
